Ingredients for 4 people:
500 g of beef chuck
60 g diced bacon
100 g mushrooms
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 glasses of red wine
30 cl of vegetable broth
1 teaspoon of olive oil
salt and pepper
Cut the meat into 3 cm cubes and remove the large pieces of fat.
Wash, peel and cut carrot, turnip and onion into small pieces.
In a casserole, brown the meat and bacon in the olive oil.
Add the mushrooms, carrot, turnip and onion pieces and sprinkle the cornflour, mix and leave for a few seconds.
Pour the red wine and broth, salt pepper and cover and cook for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.
