Banana Maple Syrup Bread
Here is finally the long-awaited and yet well known banana bread recipe. I decided to try a version in maple syrup which is more suitable for vegans. I was inspired by the nice recipe site “kitchmeup” but I had to lighten their version including removing the nuts.
If you are followers of WW or SW the recipe is worth 4 syns. Knowing that I divided all the cake in only 7 slices so each one is quite consistent. You can choose to divide in more slices and have less syns.
100 g applesauce
45 g maple syrup
130 g flour
1 sachet of baking powder
2 tsp oil
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In the bowl of the Companion with the knife knead / crush or in a bowl incorporate the flour and yeast.
Crush the bananas with a fork and add them to the flour. Add remaining ingredients. Mix the dough and pour into a non-stick cake pan.
Bake about 40 minutes.
