Apple Walnut Bars

Here is for today a recipe of bars with apples and nuts ideal for breakfast. I eat them with a tea and a natural yoghurt.

Ingredients for 8 bars:

40 g ground almonds

100 g apple puree without sugars

200 g apples peeled

80 g flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1 pinch of salt

60 g oatmeal

20 g shelled walnuts

20 g brown sugar

Instructions:

In a food processor or bowl mix the flour, flakes, crushed nuts, sugar, yeast, cinnamon and salt. Add the almond powder and the compote. Add the apple pieces.

Mix in order to amalgamate the dough.

Arrange parchment paper in a cake tin.

Preheat the oven to 180 ┬░ C.

Pack the dough into the bottom of the entire mold.

Bake 30 min. Cool and cut into bars.

I kept these bars in the refrigerator. We were able to enjoy them for several days at breakfast.
